Key Responsibilities
The Plumber may be responsible for:
- Installing, connecting, and maintaining manholes
- Installing underground drainage systems
- Performing plumbing and piping work for sewerage networks
- Working on drainage and infrastructure networks
- Installing and connecting HDPE pipes
- Installing and connecting UPVC pipes
- Installing and connecting GRP pipes
- Performing pipe fitting and jointing work
- Aligning and leveling pipes correctly
- Inspecting damaged pipes, fittings, and connections
- Repairing damaged plumbing components
- Reading and understanding plumbing drawings
- Reading infrastructure and project drawings
- Ensuring installations meet project specifications
- Following applicable plumbing standards
- Testing pipelines and drainage systems
- Checking completed work for proper functionality
- Coordinating daily activities with the Foreman
- Working with the Site Supervisor to complete assigned tasks
- Following health and safety procedures
