Key Responsibilities
The Attendant, Aquaventure may be responsible for:
- Reporting for duty on time in the correct uniform and maintaining professional grooming standards
- Attending daily shift briefings
- Following resort standards, procedures, and operational requirements
- Inspecting beaches, cabanas, towel cabanas, and guest buggies
- Reporting and following up on maintenance issues
- Coordinating with Facilities, F&B, Housekeeping, and other departments
- Preparing guest cabanas to five-star presentation standards
- Ensuring cabanas are clean, stocked, and ready for guests
- Providing food and beverage service within guest cabanas
- Maintaining cabana cleanliness and presentation throughout the day
- Understanding cabana reservations and payment procedures
- Maintaining knowledge of food menus available across the waterpark
- Operating guest buggy services safely and according to resort policies
- Conducting safety checks of buggies before and after use
- Taking responsibility for assigned buggies during working hours
- Assisting during waterpark and resort emergencies when required
- Following the Emergency Action Plan and relevant safety procedures
- Preparing and maintaining towel cabanas to resort standards
- Operating the cabana POS system where required
- Keeping towel cabanas adequately stocked
- Collecting used towels according to established procedures
- Handling cashiering duties in accordance with hotel policies
- Supporting colleagues when necessary to ensure daily operations run smoothly
- Completing daily opening and closing procedures and reports
- Maintaining pool decks, beach areas, and other outdoor spaces
- Collecting rubbish from beach and deck areas
- Washing and cleaning cabanas, umbrellas, sun loungers, and mattresses
- Moving sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, and other heavy items manually or with trolleys/cargo buggies
- Reporting guest comments, incidents, injuries, and operational concerns to management
- Reporting lost children, parents, and lost guest property
- Responding to guest complaints and assisting with incidents when required
- Maintaining knowledge of daily resort attractions, events, and special promotions
- Attending training sessions as required
- Following hotel rules and regulations relating to fire, hygiene, health, and workplace safety
- Performing other duties assigned by management

Skills and Experience
Kerzner International Limited is looking for candidates who can deliver professional guest service while working in a busy resort and waterpark environment.

Physical Requirements
This position involves substantial outdoor and physical work. Candidates should be prepared to:
- Work in hot weather and other challenging outdoor conditions
- Work in temperatures exceeding 40°C
- Work during sandstorms when required
- Remain outdoors for extended periods, potentially up to 10 hours per day
- Stand and walk for long periods
- Drive guest golf carts for extended periods
- Move sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, and other heavy equipment
- Perform cleaning and maintenance-related duties throughout the shift
