Key Responsibilities

The Hostess Restaurant may be responsible for:

Greeting and welcoming guests in a warm and friendly manner
Creating a positive first impression for customers entering the restaurant
Managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
Organizing guest seating according to restaurant capacity and availability
Helping minimize customer waiting times
Supporting efficient table turnover during busy service periods
Communicating effectively with kitchen and wait staff
Passing special guest requests and seating requirements to the relevant team members
Coordinating with restaurant staff to support smooth service
Maintaining an organized front-of-house area
Ensuring menus are clean, available and properly presented
Keeping promotional materials current and well organized
Providing helpful customer service throughout the guest’s arrival and seating experience
Responding professionally to guest requests and concerns
Supporting the restaurant team during busy periods
Helping maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests
