Key Responsibilities

The Security Officer may be responsible for:

• Regularly patrolling hotel premises to maintain the safety and security of guests, employees and property
• Identifying and reporting suspicious activities and potential security risks
• Responding promptly and professionally to theft, disturbances, unauthorized access and other security incidents
• Monitoring access to restricted and staff-only areas
• Ensuring only authorized personnel enter controlled areas
• Responding to fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies and other emergency situations
• Assisting guests and employees with guidance and support when required
• Following hotel security policies, safety procedures and applicable local regulations
• Maintaining accurate records of security incidents and actions taken
• Preparing detailed incident reports for management
• Identifying safety hazards and reporting them promptly
• Supporting the training and guidance of new security officers and hotel associates
• Carrying out other security-related duties assigned by management

Skills and Experience
