Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Incharge may be responsible for:
- Receiving, inspecting, and safely storing raw materials according to company procedures.
- Verifying incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Issuing raw materials to the production team based on approved material requisitions.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and assisting with periodic physical inventory stock takes.
- Monitoring material expiry dates and maintaining proper stock rotation using the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Ensuring warehouse and storage areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Identifying and reporting material discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
- Supporting inventory transfers when required.
- Following health, safety, and warehouse regulations.
- Ensuring warehouse activities are completed efficiently and within operational deadlines.
- Coordinating warehouse activities to support smooth production and supply chain operations.
